Private Ring Making Workshop Group Booking

Short Description
Join us for an exclusive Personalised Silver Ring Making Workshop for two in London or Brighton.
You will learn wax ring carving techniques and will carve your unique design into jewellers wax, which we will cast into your choice of metal. Depending on your design we can also hand-stamp with your chosen personalisation and personalise further with your chosen birthstones which will be charged separately.
The price includes two tickets for you and a loved one to take part in a private ring-making workshop at one of our stores. No experience is needed and participants will receive full tuition. The cost of your final ring with depend on the choice of metal, optional extras such as birthstones and the size/weight of your finished design.

But don't you need to be the crafty type to take part?
No. Participants will receive full tuition from our experienced jewellers, so you don't need any experience. All levels of ability are welcome and you're encouraged to go at your own pace until you've got the hang of the technique. All you need is a sense of fun!
When will workshops be held, how long are they and how do I book?
Our workshops are held in both our London and Brighton shops. Each workshop will be two hours long.

What do I get for the price?
The cost of our Couples Ring Making Workshop includes your ring designs cast in 925 sterling silver, a bottle of fizz plus all the materials you'll need to make your ring and full private tuition by our skilled jewellers. You will carve your ring design into jewellers wax which we will cast into sterling silver after the class, and post directly to you. Optional 18ct gold plating or 9ct gold upgrade is available for an additional charge (depending on the size of your ring). We can also hand-stamp your ring with your chosen personalisation, creating a beautiful piece that's unique to you.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your place please contact us 48 hours prior to the workshop you're booked into in order to rebook onto a later date. We cannot guarantee a rebooking for a later date without 48 hours notice.

Important Info
Personalisation:
Each item is individually handmade to order in our Brighton workshop. The personalisation is hand-stamped rather than machine engraved, as such, any irregularities should be appreciated as part of the bespoke design.
All of our items are handmade so please check that all personalisation, sizing, product options and delivery information have been entered correctly. We cannot guarantee that any adjustment requests made after the order has been placed will be possible. Character limits apply to all jewellery items.
Please note that we cannot stamp lower case letters.
Punctuation:
We can only stamp the Roman alphabet in the upper case font shown in the product images. We can only include certain punctuation marks, they are the ampersand (&), the full stop (.) and the comma (,). We can also include numbers but we cannot include any other punctuation, accent marks or mathematical symbols. Any punctuation requests other than those listed above will be omitted.
Text Finish
Black finish gives a bolder, easy to read look, whereas clear finish gives a more subtle look. The 'black finish' is achieved by applying a specialist black paste that leaves the text with black fill. Black finish can fade over time. We suggest that if you want to prolong this finish on your jewellery, it is advisable to not expose it to perfume, chlorine, cosmetics, hand sanitiser and body lotions. Humidity and body oils may also affect the black finish.
If your black finish does fade we offer a jewellery maintenance service, which includes a high shine re-polish and the re-application or removal of black fill if required. Find out more about our Jewellery maintenance services.

18ct Gold plating:
We make our jewellery using the finest quality 925 Sterling Silver. Most of our Silver Jewellery can also be plated with a thick layer (approx 1 micron) of 18ct yellow gold/ 18ct rose gold.
Our gold plated items are compliant with the Assay nickel release test (BS EN 1811:1998 and BS EN 12472) therefore they are suitable for those with nickel allergies.
We advise that gold plating is a finish that can wear away over time. It can be affected by elements such as exposure to water, heat, chlorine and chemicals found in body lotions/ cosmetics/ hand-sanitiser/ perfumes as well as different skin types.
If the plating on your product wears away within the first three months of your purchase we will happily re-plate the item free of charge. However, beyond the first three months of purchasing there is a £20 re-plating charge.
To avoid continual re-plating we recommend that 9ct pure gold is the best option.
