What to Expect from Our Classes

1.

Your tutor will give you a full demonstration and hand you a glass of fizz, plus you're welcome to BYOB!

2.

After some practice and once you've decided on your design, you'll craft your jewellery in blue jeweller’s wax.

3.

Your finished design is taken to the workshop to be cast to your specification. This usually takes around 4–6 weeks.

Ta Da! You'll receive your beautiful bespoke jewellery through the post!

I attended a workshop four weeks ago and haven’t received my ring yet. What should I do?

We’re so excited for you to receive your finished ring or pendant! Our casting process typically takes between 4–6 weeks to complete. We kindly ask that you allow the full six weeks from the date of your workshop before getting in touch for an update on your jewellery.

Please rest assured that we’re working hard to make your piece as beautiful as possible, and we can’t wait for you to see the finished result!

I’d like to book a private workshop. How can I get a quote?

We’d love to help you plan your private workshop! Please email us at makes@poshtottydesigns.com with the following details:

Your preferred location (Brighton or London)
The number of participants
Your preferred workshop (Ring Making or Pendant Making)
Your preferred date or dates

We’ll then be in touch to discuss your requirements and provide a quote.

Can I host a workshop at a private or off-site venue?

We’d love to hear about your plans! Please email us at makes@poshtottydesigns.com with your preferred location, number of participants, workshop type (Ring Making or Pendant Making), and preferred date(s).

We’ll review your enquiry and let you know whether we’re able to accommodate your request.

Can I use my own gold or gemstones during the workshop?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to use your own gold or gemstones in our workshops. All of our jewellery is cast in recycled sterling silver, with the option to add 18ct rose or yellow gold plating.

We also offer a lovely selection of birthstones, allowing you to add a meaningful and personal touch to your ring or pendant.

I have a specific design in mind. Can I make it during the workshop?

We’d love to hear your ideas! Please email us at makes@poshtottydesigns.com with a description of your design (and a reference image if possible).

We’ll be happy to advise whether your idea is achievable within the workshop timeframe and with the materials and techniques we use.

Are the Ring Making Workshops suitable for children and teenagers?

Our Ring Making Workshops involve tools that aren’t suitable for younger participants, so we recommend a minimum age of 16.

Our Pendant Making Workshops are a lovely alternative for younger guests, as they mainly involve shaping and moulding wax by hand. We recommend a minimum age of 8 for these workshops.
