How to Clean a Gold Necklace?

The safest way to clean a gold necklace at home is with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth to gently remove everyday dirt.

1. Prepare a gentle cleaning solution
Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm (not hot) water in a small bowl.

2. Soak and gently clean
Leave the necklace in the solution for 10–15 minutes, then gently clean with a soft toothbrush or cloth, focusing on clasps and chain links.

3. Rinse and dry carefully
Rinse thoroughly under clean water and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Allow it to air dry completely before wearing.
