Personalisation

We use our unique hand-stamping method on the majority of our personalised jewellery. As such each piece is unique.

Please check that all personalisation, sizing, product options and delivery information have been entered correctly. We cannot guarantee that any adjustment requests made after the order has been placed will be possible. Character limits apply to all personalised items.

Please note that we can only stamp in UPPERCASE letters.

We can only stamp the Roman alphabet in the font shown in the product images. We can only include certain punctuation marks, they are the ampersand (&), the at-sign (@), the hashtag (#), the comma (,), the full stop (.), the question mark (?), the exclamation mark (!), and the open and close brackets (). If you wish to add a star or heart stamp to your personalisation, please request this in the customer comment section at the checkout. We can also include numbers but we cannot include any other punctuation, accent marks or mathematical symbols. Any punctuation requests other than those listed above will be omitted.

Personalisation / Text Finish: Black or Clear

We always recommend a black finish for your personalisations. Black finish gives a bolder, easy to read look, whereas a clear finish gives a more subtle look. The 'black finish' is achieved by applying a specialist black paste that leaves the text with a black fill. We suggest that if you want to prolong this finish on your jewellery, it is advisable to not expose it to perfume, chlorine, cosmetics, hand sanitiser and body lotions. Humidity and body oils may also affect the black finish.

18ct Gold plating - 925 Sterling Silver Jewellery only

We make our silver/plated jewellery using the finest quality 925 Sterling Silver. Most of our Silver Jewellery can be plated with a thick layer (approx 1 micron) of 18ct yellow gold / 18ct rose gold.

We advise that gold plating is a finish that can wear away over time. It can be affected by elements such as exposure to water, heat, chlorine and chemicals found in body lotions/ cosmetics/ hand-sanitiser/ perfumes as well as different skin types.

If the plating on your product wears away within the first three months of your purchase we will happily re-plate the item free of charge. However, beyond the first three months of purchasing there is a £20 re-plating charge.

Hallmarking - 9ct Gold & 925 Sterling Silver

Assay Office states that any item must be hallmarked if a silver jewellery item weighs above 7.8g, or if a solid gold jewellery item weighs above 1g. All of our necklaces are Assay hallmarked / laser hallmarked. Smaller, lighter items may not be hallmarked. Weights for individual items can be provided on request.
