We're Hiring! Trainee Jeweller - London

We're looking for a trainee jeweller to work alongside our Camden Passage Islington store in-house manager; learning how to speedily hand make all our beautiful products while customers wait. Anyone applying should have bench experience working in silver, basic knowledge is fine as long as you have an eye for detail, are familiar with soldering and are a fast learner.

The role involves learning handstamping, which is how we personalise a large majority of our jewellery. We have some major projects involving handstamping pre-prepped jewellery by hand in stores in other locations across London, so applicants must have a friendly personable manner and be good with customers, as this involves face to face work with the people you're making for. This role will involve a lot of flexibility and the willingness to work in a variety of environments, travelling between sites and naturally transitioning between your jewellery making and handstamping customer service role.

Your days will be varied, making this an exciting role for anyone looking to develop their skills in the jewellery industry. You will need to be prepared to keep up with the fast pace of training whilst staying upbeat and friendly, serving all customers with a smile.

We're Hiring! Trainee Jewellery Technician & Sales Assistant - Ely's London

We're looking for crafty people who have experience quickly learning hand-making skills to come on board for some major creative projects across London this summer. The majority of our gorgeous jewellery pieces are personalised using our signature hand-stamping method. No jewellery experience is necessary for the role but an attention to detail and eye for accuracy are essential.

You'll be working across several sites speaking to customers and helping them decide what personal message to have forever imprinted upon their chosen jewellery design, then making this a reality by carefully hand stamping their important names, words or dates.

This role will involve a lot of flexibility and willingness to work weekends in a variety of environments, travelling between sites and covering whatever project we have running at any given time. Starting on three to four days per week while training in the runup to summer, the position will develop into a full time role in June ready for the various launches Posh Totty Designs has planned for the summer!

We're Hiring! Freelance Marketing Assistant - Brighton

Posh Totty Designs handmakes silver and gold personalised jewellery in our workshop in central Brighton. We started in 2004 and we're proud to say that PTD now runs the largest jewellery workshop in the south and employs a predominantly female team of 50+ fantastic staff (including my mum and husband). We have three shops in Brighton (offering same day personalised jewellery service) and our newest shop in Islington, London, as well as wholesaling to many other global platforms.

As a rapidly growing business we're now looking for a Freelance Marketing Assistant to join us at this exciting time.

You'll have experience of working in a creative environment and you'll develop engaging and innovative content to promote brand-focused messages for our Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, blog and customer newsletters.

Requirements:

  • Experience of writing social media content
  • Experience of producing commercial copy
  • Experience of Facebook Business Manager, setting up and targeting Facebook & Instagram ads, reporting on performance of social ads
  • Excellent proof reader with high attention to detail
  • Creative, innovative and adaptable
  • A flexible approach to work with an 'all hands on deck' attitude when needed

As a rapidly growing business with we're now looking for an HR Consultant to join us at this exciting time. 

The role is diverse and challenging with high levels of autonomy and responsibility, in an exciting, working and creative environment. The HR Consultant will need to have the necessary experience, qualification and skills to hit the ground running, take charge across all HR functions.

Central to the functionality of the business, you will be a highly visible, credible and consistent positive role model for all teams across the business.

Main Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the recruitment process of vacancies; to appointment of suitable candidates and inductions
•Training and Development & Employee Satisfaction
•Payroll, auto-enrollment & childcare voucher schemes
•Maintaining all appraisals and review processes
•Oversee implementation of all Staff Incentive activities throughout the year
•Manage staff leave, sick and all other absences, including management approvals, record keeping and liaising with staff directly on their leave approval/rejection, holiday entitlement balance, paternity/maternity leave etc.
•Manage all HR documents - create, maintain and update confidential HR records for new or existing staff as required.
•Organise company events, birthdays, social staff activities

Requirements: 
•Proven experience in HR
•A clear aptitude to work autonomously and ability to drive things forward without being prompted / taking charge in the role
•Implementing new processes as required and ensure best business practices are adopted
•Confident, friendly individual
•Highly organised who thrives in a busy working environment
•High Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Sage 50 experience would be an advantage 
This is a flexible role that could be between 3-5 days depending on the candidate.
