At Posh Totty we are always looking for ways to combine gifting and giving. 

This year we decided to support Giving Tuesday and donate £1 on any purchase made on the 3^rd December to our amazing charity partner  Women for Women International  and their tireless work helping women in countries affected by conflict.

Currently, there are over fifty brutal armed conflicts raging across the globe, so there’s never been a greater need to support women survivors of war.

The work of Women for Women International is very close to our hearts and embodies our ethos for championing and supporting women.  We are in awe of how they have helped to create renewed hope for over half a million women by providing them with the tools and resources to move from crisis and poverty to stability and self-sufficiency.

Our founder, Alice created the unique Share a Hug range in collaboration with the charity after a trip to Kosovo in 2016. Alice was so moved by the warmth of the brave women enrolled on the Women for Women’s International year-long training programme that she wanted to celebrate their hope and resilience and support Women for Women International’s vital work. Proceeds from the range go back to the charity, helping to fund training programmes in Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The charity’s year-long training programme teaches women how to earn and save money, improve their family’s health and make their voices heard at home and in their community.  Women graduate with skills, knowledge and resources to become successful entrepreneurs. They pass on their knowledge to their families and communities, creating a ripple effect of change.
