OUR STORY 
Posh Totty Designs was set up in 2004 by Alice Rivers-Cripps from her kitchen table. Alice decided early on that she wanted to make meaningful keepsakes/jewellery that the wearer will cherish and love rather than fashion jewellery that is 'in fashion' one moment and out the next. She was one of the first jewellers to realise there was a market for Personalised jewellery.
Alice Rivers-Cripps, jewellery designer and mother of two wonderful little boys Oli (4)and Roo (2) then set up her Brighton boutique in 2006 and has since grown from being just her, to a strong team of ten including four fabulous jewellers.
Posh Totty Designs is online or you can visit one of her two PTD Boutiques in Brighton. Posh Totty Designs Boutique HQ tucked away on Bond St in the heart of the North Laine or Posh Totty Designs Little Beach Boutique in a converted sail loft on the beach near the carousel (pure heaven on a summers day).
Alice realised what she wanted to do after travelling across North and South America ending up in Mexico with only $60 in her pocket. She had no way of paying for her flight home so she worked for some local Mayan jewellers who taught her how to make traditional Silver jewellery. Two years later when she had made and sold enough to pay for a flight home to England, Alice chose to continue to use the skills she was taught to develop her own personal style and Posh Totty Designs was born.
PTD has since grown in the personalised market and now sells many other personalised products like typography cufflinks, map cufflinks, map pictures, albums, leather products and engraved chopping boards all of which we personalise by hand in our workshop.
Celebrity clients include PM David Cameron, Rachel McAdams, Emma Freud, Davina McCall, Holly Willoughby, Vanessa Redgrave, Rachel Stevens, Dermot O'Leary, Mrs.Dee Koppang O'leary (as seen in our wax seal necklace), Emma Bunton, Amanda Holden, Sir Richard Curtis and Cat Deeley.
